FFL Transfers
Buying a firearm online or from an out-of-state dealer? Federal law requires it to ship to a licensed dealer (an FFL) for pickup. Valley Pawn accepts incoming firearm transfers at all five of our Virginia locations. Below you’ll find each store’s address, contact information, Federal Firearms License number, and a downloadable, signed copy of that store’s FFL for your seller.
- Call the store first — or notify us online. Contact the Valley Pawn location you’d like your firearm shipped to and let us know a transfer is coming.
- Send your seller our FFL. Download that store’s signed FFL copy below and give it to the dealer or seller shipping the firearm.
- Have it shipped to the store’s address. Ask the seller to include your name and a reference/order number on the package.
- Pick it up in store. When your firearm arrives, we’ll contact you. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID and complete the required ATF Form 4473 and background check. All transfers follow federal and Virginia law.
Transfer fee: $25.00 per firearm, due at pickup.

Each downloadable license is a true, signed copy of the store’s current Federal Firearms License, provided so a transferring dealer can verify our licensed status under 27 CFR Part 478.
